Note 1) The induction motor cannot make a quick-reversal run because of the torque acting in the opposite direction. Therefore stop the induction motor once, change the wire connections and make a reverse run. Note 2) Induction Motor start-stop operation must not exceed 6-cycles per minute or demage may occur. PANASONIC PLC FP-e: PLC for Panel ounting

FP-e

The new multi-talented PLC combines the performance of an FP0-C14C PLC with a 2-line x 5-character display for monitoring messages and machine data. The FP-e was specially developed for PLC applications in which a minimal display of information at the machine itself is sufficient for the operator, who in turn can select actions via keys on the front of the FP-e. Several product types are available, offering various combinations with real-time clock, thermocouples, and RS232C or RS485 interface.   Features:
  • 5-character, 2-line, 3-colour display Letters and numerical values can be displayed. Simple messages as well as timer/counter settings and elapsed values can also be displayed.
  • Matches FP0 intelligence (equivalent to FP0-C14C) Programming software and cables are common for all FP Series PLCs, therefore the FP-e can use programs created for other FP Series PLCs. FPWIN Pro and FPWIN GR offer a convenient configuration dialog for the screen display.
  • Built-in operation switch Displayed setting values can be changed. The operation switch can also be used to input data.
  • Panel mounted type The front of the unit is waterproof (in accordance with IP66 and IEC standards), and it can be used on equipment that requires washing, such as food processing machines. 70mm depth (front panel excluded).
