Plastic LED Driver AP/LP Family Labeling Change Notice
In order to enhance the auto-production degree and reduce the color fading issue of label stickers resulting from a long-time use, MEAN WELL selected LPV-20 and LPC-20 models and conducted the revision to laser engraving printings instead of the current manually-applied stickers since Q2, 2016. Due to the good responses from market and auto production lines considering in Hwadu new factory, since 2017, the plastic case LED drivers will be gradually revised to the laser engraving printings. The new ink printing has better weather resistance than the original stickers, and not easy to fade under the outdoor environment.
MEAN WELL has finished the safety certification related works for this labeling change. This change of labeling does not affect the electrical specification or certifications of the products. In order to keep the market competitiveness, MEAN WELL fully takes in the addition on the relevant cost, making no adjustment on the pricing. Hereunder are the details of this change.
